My Mood: | ebay plastics?
I was thinking about switching out my factory green plastics to white ones, and I saw some realy cheap on ebay. I was wondering if anybody had experience with them? I dont want to buy'em if they won't fit or break super easy. PIT BIKE PLASTICS BODY KLX110 WHITE Kawasaki:eBay Motors (item 330341419994 end time Oct-28-09 10:40:01 PDT) |

I have not bought from them, but you usually get what you pay for... That being said, there is one place on eBay to definately avoid buying pit bike stuff from: "Pomona, California, United States." Junk parts, incorrect parts, terrible customer service, slow service. They have several different ebay names: motorparts2829, pccmotors, hunterh01, motor99motor. Most of the photos have a "PCC" watermark. Buyer beware! |

They messed up my wheel order too. Had the wrong tires mounted and the one tube was defective. "New" rims were damaged. Packaging was poor too. I tried to work with them - they promised the world and never delivered. FWIW: I am batting .0000 with PCC Motors - buyers beware!

eBay plastics are nowhere near as good as OEM or other quality aftermarket plastics. The eBay crap isn't as flexible, therefore it's more brittle, and it fades faster than any quality plastic would ever dare to! For $55 you'll get one season or less out of the plastic, unless you don't care about the looks of your bike.

Mine didnt really match up to good. I had to put some elbow grease to make them fit correctly. Also front fender needs 2 holes to be drilled and the graphics were put on crapy. I had to sit there and push out air bubbles for about an hour, after riding with them a few times the graphics started getting dirt under them and peeling up. This was my experience I would get acerbis, ufo, or t3 minis plastics. Check out fasterminis.com time to time I just got all white t3 minis plastics for $56 on the killer countdown.

Ya but yours were from tBolt, not quite the same as these eBay ones but the same idea. Either way cheaper plastics aren't going to fit as well and will be weirder in shape. Also Chris' front fender was sticking up in the air a bit, but I am running a cheaper fender (got it from a friend not sure on brand) and it sits fine, just wiggles and wobbles like crazy when you ride it because it is so flimsy.
