alright ive always wondered this and cant seem to find any threads about it..............can you run a stock motor and a race head????? like a stocker with a pipe and filter kit and then throw a tb race head and cam on therre????? im not going to do anything like that but it just seems like itd be a good mod if it can be done?

Nope valves would be smacking the piston

You would have to do quiet a bit of machine work on the piston. The valves would be way to big to the pockets on top of the stock piston. Anything is possible. It would take time and effort.

haha ok.......just thought it'd be kool lol......probably be cheaper to just get a basic bore kit and carb for 250 haha.

haha man.......ive already got a tb 143 kit and race head with a vm26........but if you could just buy a used tb head and use it on a stock motor i was gonna talk my buddy into doing that......im from lawrenceville.....its around 100 miles south of danville illinois.
