My Mood: | Help!!! Me please
I have just put in a new race cam from TB in my klx... I have the 143 and stock head. I just put a VM26 on. Now I can't get the bike to start. And i'm pouring gas out the over flow. It has a 190 main and 22.5 pilot. Can some one help. And yes i've checked the timing 3 times. I got it... thank you all!!!!!!! It was the flywheel key. I almost never found it... The flywheel was moving with the shaft so I still had spark but there for my timing was bad off. That is my luck... Thanks again to all!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! move the clip up the slide a notch at a time to allow less gas in the bowl

My Mood: | Re: Help!!! Me please yea. I have fuel fire and compression. I bumped the magnet on the flywheel when it was on the lathe. Could this by my problem. it looks like it is not interferring with the pick up.

Make sure there is some slack in the throttle cable. If its too tight, it could be holding the slide open. Just a thought......................... |

Make sure when you put the carb top and slide on that its correctly in the carb. I have done this once or twice and it will not start at all till you make sure that the slide goes all the way in properly. There is a notch on it which makes it sit down further. You have to line it up when you put it on the carb. Could be this but not sure its worth a try. |
