Help!!! Me please

I have just put in a new race cam from TB in my klx... I have the 143 and stock head. I just put a VM26 on. Now I can't get the bike to start. And i'm pouring gas out the over flow. It has a 190 main and 22.5 pilot. Can some one help. And yes i've checked the timing 3 times.

I got it... thank you all!!!!!!!

It was the flywheel key. I almost never found it... The flywheel was moving with the shaft so I still had spark but there for my timing was bad off. That is my luck...

Thanks again to all!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Re: Help!!! Me please

move the clip up the slide a notch at a time to allow less gas in the bowl

hmmmm...like pax said, check to make sure the float is functioning properly and that the overflow needle isn't sticking?

Re: Help!!! Me please

its not that it is leaking air. it is sucking real hard through the filter. I've never had a carb sound like that. but I new to this

Re: Help!!! Me please

Make sure there is some slack in the throttle cable. If its too tight, it could be holding the slide open.

Just a thought.........................

Re: Help!!! Me please

Make sure when you put the carb top and slide on that its correctly in the carb. I have done this once or twice and it will not start at all till you make sure that the slide goes all the way in properly. There is a notch on it which makes it sit down further. You have to line it up when you put it on the carb.

Could be this but not sure its worth a try.

Re: Help!!! Me please

My vm 26mm carb leaks gas out of the overflow when you start it otherwise it stops just so you know.
