Thumbs down Intake boot cracked!!

I put a TB carb and intake on my 110 this past spring and the black rubber boot inbetween the carb and intake boot is cracking on top and bottom.
Its no big deal a replacement boot is only 11.00. But I wanted to see what everybody else is doing to prevent the fatigue on the boot.
I was going to go with the BBR U-flow and bracket for support and just replace the intake boot!!
That rubber boot is JUNK so if your are thinking of doing this to your bike use some Zip ties or something for support on the carb!!
I did put some washers on the bolts when new. And even around the washers its cracked. More like rotten.
And to top it off this bike is seldom rode mostley on the street in my neighborhood by me and some by my daughter in the yard!!
Ideas??
Thanks in advance

Re: Intake boot cracked!!

i have the dr. atv boot and its held up awsome. i used to crack them all the time. it looks the same as a kitaco and holds up just as good and they give u a fair price. you wont pay $50 for the boot and its the same quality.
