specs yx(143/155 stroked) with yx160 head ported and polished 26 mm carb elevation 600 feet what jetting should i use? |

HOLY F&&% people!!!! i need some FU%*&*# help!! here's the situation we put the carberator on, fixed the throttle on the bars, kicked it about 4 times, ran good for about 10-15 seconds, then quit, we took off the carb and cleaned it and made sure nothing was in there, put it back on, now it won't start AT ALL!!!! NOTE: THIS IS A BRAND NEW MOTOR, WE JUST GOT EVERYTHING TOGETHER TODAY i'm at a loss for what to do now please help if you can and please only KNOWLEDGABLE PEOPLE LIKE FIREPOWER OR SOMEBODY SIMILAR i don't want any people "thinking" they know what they're talking about thanks |

yes, it is a mikuni 26, it seems as though its not getting any fuel...dont know why though.. the line going to the carb is getting fuel, its just not giong into the carb it seems like, and the plug is dry | |

Drain the carb from the float bowl to see if this is true. Either way. You'll have to remove the carb and set the float height. | |

yeah..we did that already, is that little white/clear plastic cup looking thing in the bowl supposed to be there? its right above where the carb drain plug is. how do you set the float height? |

It has nothing to do with float ht. To set float height remove the float bowl. Turn upside down. The "bottom of the float" should be about 15mm away from the float bowl gasket surface. There is a metal tang that you bend to achieve this height. Note. The float needle pin should not be compressed while doing this. | |
