here's the situation
we put the carberator on, fixed the throttle on the bars, kicked it about 4 times, ran good for about 10-15 seconds, then quit, we took off the carb and cleaned it and made sure nothing was in there, put it back on, now it won't start AT ALL!!!!
NOTE: THIS IS A BRAND NEW MOTOR, WE JUST GOT EVERYTHING TOGETHER TODAY
i'm at a loss for what to do now
please help if you can
and please only KNOWLEDGABLE PEOPLE LIKE FIREPOWER OR SOMEBODY SIMILAR
i don't want any people "thinking" they know what they're talking about

If it's a Mikuni VM26, I would start with 170mj/22.5p/4thC/ 1 AS

And ya don't have to yell.

btw.... you prolly fouled a spark plug.

yes, it is a mikuni 26, it seems as though its not getting any fuel...dont know why though.. the line going to the carb is getting fuel, its just not giong into the carb it seems like, and the plug is dry

Sounds like when you put the carb back together from previous cleanings, you may have jammed the float somehow and keeping it from opening and allowing fuel into the bowl.
Drain the carb from the float bowl to see if this is true.
Either way. You'll have to remove the carb and set the float height.

Re: jetting

That little white plastic cup looking thing is a fuel stabilizer. In other words it's stabilizing the fuel around the main jet so you don't have airiation in the fuel.
It has nothing to do with float ht.

To set float height remove the float bowl. Turn upside down. The "bottom of the float" should be about 15mm away from the float bowl gasket surface.
There is a metal tang that you bend to achieve this height.
Note. The float needle pin should not be compressed while doing this.
