Can anyone answer this? How big of bore can the stock 05 klx cylinder take?I bought a used bike and the previous owner couldnt remember how much he was able to bore it out.thx

58mm (+5) is safe, but TB dropped the piston. Some have run 60mm, but bore distortion will negate any power advantage. Best combo I've found is a 57mm Akunar. About $75 shipped. Big radiused dome, lots of compression.

Ok thx.Do you know about how many ccs that works out to? Im trying to size up a carb for it

For something different, I also sell 53.5mm pistons, and TB stroker crank, for just under 125cc and a mile-wide torque curve. Then you can add the output shaft, 4th gear, and case boring, so it's a 30 minute top-swap to go from 125 to 185cc
