| klxster suspension setup?
what would be a good price to pay for almost new complete setup to convert a klx to pitster suspension(forks, triple clamps, bars, swingarm, shock, shock relocation bracket, wheelset, and brakes) also what would a bike with this suspension setup, and TB155 race head engine w/ 4speed and 26mm carb be worth. thanks |

I did it for just over $900. I made my own rear shock bracket and modified the factory rear brakelever... that was as cheap as you can do it (I think). If you plan on getting better wheels and other parts... the price goes up real quick. |

yeah the pitster conversoin would be cheaper to wait until they get their whole back end setup for 600 but they already have the front end setup for 650 but that includes everything you'll need and if you are like me and don't like the black rims the price for the silver rims (only comes in billet hubs) is only a littl ebit more expensive plus you'll need to find a master cylinder bracket for the rear brake for me the price is going to be around 14 to 1500 because i'm adding wave rotors billet hubs with silver rims both ends, i did bbrs brake bracket , i thikn thats about it |

the reason i ask is because there is a guy near me askin 1100 for everything, front and rear, plus he has brackets for the rear shock and rear brake. i dont want to spend the money if i cant get it back if i ever decide to sell my bike later, or if the stock suspension with damping rods and springs and good shock work as good for half the price.

the stock stuff is good but not as good as the pitster stuff i'd offer him 900 for it with the mini stuff you'll never get your money back ever, no matter how good of deals you find that's why i'm just facing the facts and konwingly throwing money at it lol although wisely throwing money at my 110 its still not gonna come back hope this helps |
