it leaks gas out of the carb overflow mostly the one on the bowl but it doesnt leak when its running? i took it apart cleaned the S#$* out of it and it still does it. any help?

Run it & it should stop. Mine used to do the same & i ran it & it just stoped. Also make shure over flow screw is tightened.

well i rode it for a little bit then came back shut it off then it just started leaking so just keep riding it?? haha whers the overflow screw?

at the bottom of the carb where the hose hangs off... if its lose its just gonna pore out. losen it & tighten it. if it still dose it shove something in the bottom of the over flow line.

yea i took the bowl off and everything looks alright should i bend the tab on the float up?

no dont bend anything. just make shure all the parts that should be in the float are in the float...

Let it idle & see if it still pores out. If so move the clip up on the slide & see if that dose anything

take apart petcock and clean it out u may need to replace rubber part that's inside...my drz w/vm 26 would do the same thing at times

I had the same exact problem and this solved it... move the clip up one notch at a time. It sucks to pull apart and test over and over but you have to do it!!
