My Mood: | Need some help timing my engine w/ inner rotor
So ive been building my engine up a little bit with a 143 kit and need some help timing it. I have an inner rotor kit (pretty sure its chinese made) and I was wondering if anyone knows where the timing marks are on it. Ive never done it with any aftermarket ignition system. Heres a pic of it |

Or do I just install the head when its at TDC and then line up the mark on the cam gear?

I'd check it like this .... - Remove the crank shaft nut and see where the key way is pointed with the inner rotor .. - Then where it would be pointed if the stk flywheel were installed .. If I remember correctly ..., on a honda irk ... The flywheel key way usually points twords the middle of the head .. But .., it may be different with the kawi one is positioned ??? |

Thats a great idea! Luckily I have another 110 in the garage with a stock ignition so I can just pop the cover off, line up the marks, and see where the key way is. Sweet! Thank you | |
