My Mood: | Re: newb question
I have done it to every one I have had/worked on/had access to and was allowed to ride. I dont know how much of a difference it makes, but I love tinkering. Go for it you have nothing to oose.

My Mood: | Re: newb question NO Do NOT adjust the cam timing!!! IM sorry I thought you were talking about ignition timing. If you mess with cam timing then its almost guarunteed to bend a valve or worse! Ign timing is what you want to advance. That just takes a phillips screw driver (#2 and a #3) and a small dremel type grinder. You just oblong the holes in the pick up coil... The small coil. Check out 50mods.com tehy have an article on how to do it on a 50. The only difference with the 110 is the left side cover has oil in it and the pick up coil is attached to the side cover instead of the plate on the engine. Search it here and you should be able to find a thread on how to. |
