I've got a set in my NSR50 forks, I'm pleased with them.

Could you tell a difference between running the forks with and without the emulators?

I run them. I like them a lot they diffinatly make a big difference. They improve compression and rebound dampening a lot. I really noticed the difference in the whoops. For the money to it cost to build the stock forks up you may wanna look at the bbr e-6 forks. They cost what I have in my stock setup. Was looking into getting them and putting emulators in em.

They work great but for the money I agree go with the BBR forks!

For the money, $100 for Ray's (rjpracing) time*, $150 for emulators, you've got a reworked fork that'll do MUCH better. E6's are still north of $500 right now aren't they? And they are plain old damping rod forks like you have now, so other than increased travel where's the gain? * Assuming he's still doing that deal for mini riders. |

I have them in my kx60 forks and being able to tune further than oil and spring rate is nice.

Can you run the emulators with 1 heavy and 1 stock fork spring? That's what we run now and it's sprung perfect, just need better compression/damping.

I don't see why you couldn't. Ray can also cut custom springs so you could run matching springs... makes tuning easier.

I run one stock and one stiff(red baron) spring. Works fine.

Will the emulators for the stock forks work in the E-6 forks? They are both 30mm forks.

And emulators for stock forks may or may not work with E6s. It isn't so much the outside tube diameter you have to worry about, but the inside diameter that matters, that's what determines which emulators you get.

Jeff, running one stiff one stock should be fine but you'll need to cut approx 1/2" off each spring to compensate for the added space of the emulators.

| Re: Race Tech Emulators I thought that but I did not see it in the instructions. I figured if you didn't you would get coil bind but I havn't had an issue. I need to get an o-ring on my fork to verify how much traval I am using/have availible.
