Ive currently got a ktm 65sx rear swingarm fabed up to fix on a stock klx frame. I believe the swinger works out to be about a +4 in. Right now the stock ktm shock is on it and its wayyyyy to soft. Should I send the shock out to be resprung and revalved or should I buy an aftermarket shock? If so what would you reccomend? Btw im not trying to spend a ton of money on this setup.

I believe the ktm shock is about 13in eye to eye.

What's up guys? Send that 65 shock to Feal, or PR2 for a respring and a revalve. Just make sure whatever shock tower you're using allows that 65 shock to clear everything all the way through its' travel before you spend the $ on it. I'd be interested in checking the setup out when it's done. --L*64

Ok ill give Feal a call. Yes everything clears fine but the rear wheel gets rather close to the fender upon bottoming the shock but i think it will be fine. Its not the nicest setup, but for my bugdet it works. I only paid a 100 bucks or so for the swinger and shock and upper mounting bracket anyways.

One more question haha. What setup should i go with for my kx 60 forks? What wieght oil and what springs? I have no problem rebuilding forks.
