TB134 tick noise help

ive got an 06 110 with trail bikes 134 bbk... 134 not 143.... stock carb and stock head.. it runs mint but it makes a little tick noise thats is costing me the sale of it.. it doesnt sound like an alumnium tick it sounds like a steel tick.. ive heard that the steel cylinder makes this noise and that its perfectly fine but i just want to make sure.. maybe its a valve out of ajustment tick.. idk.. the thing is tho also i just installed a tb 88 kit on a crf70 with stock head and carb and it also makes the same tick noise but the valves are set to the right ajustment on that.. im just trying to figure out what makes this tick noise.. the steel cylinder? something with the valves and cam? please help me out so i can sell this thing..

It is the cam. I am told they make this noise and it is normal with those kits.

galster im just wondering if it is prolly normal cause both the tb kits do it on the 110 and on the 70.. just i am sure that the valves are set right on the 70 cause i just did them and i did the 110 valves a while ago so they are prolly dialed in.. the 70's intake valve was at about .009" of an inch at first and it made a horrible tick that i knew was a valve.. i set it to .003" and it was mint afterwards just the normal little TB ticks.. soo i just need to convince this kid that iits all normal.. thanks all

that is normal for them to tick. run a kitaco silent cam chain and it quietens it up. not sure how they do work but it does. good luck with the sale

I have the same setup, TB 134 w/ cam, stock head and carb. I've adjusted the valves so many times but it doesn't seem to quiet down any so I'm guessing it's normal. Pushing a year of hard riding and not one problem.
