i hate freestyle motox..... the sport got way too big too soon. yea the tricks are doing are absolutely nuts and i have the greatest respect for them, but competitions are just dumb IMO.. If your not flipping, your already out. The sport is just getting out of hand...

true true but i get what he is saying to because i sk8 and i hate all the lil goombas cloging up the spots and the parks...but that was sikk non the less

freestyle motocross is becoming so dangerous. I mean yeah sure all those tricks are awesome but when they go bad its not good.

Well as far as competition goes, yes you have to be able to do certain tricks (flips and etc.)to be able to be competitive and make a career out of it. Without people trying to elevate the sport, anyone who can do a no hander could be a professional. But if there weren't people out there going bigger, the sport would die. What would be the point of going to a show only to see the same tricks repeated.

I give a lot of credit to these guys doing flips and all sorts of other variations of tricks on jumps some people wouldn't even consider jumping.

As far as wannabes clogging up the skate park, I can understand how that gets frustrating. But from what I've observed as far as riding/practicing goes as long as your hitting the ramps, people don't really seem to care on the complexity of the trick. (Out of competition of course)
