Jason Lawrence In Jail?

J-Law Breaks the Law

Racer X Online has learned that Boost Mobile/Yamaha of Troy's Jason Lawrence spent Friday night in a local jail here in Red Bud, Michigan, following an incident yesterday afternoon.
Lawrence has been released on bail, but the AMA is expected to bar him from racing this weekend, and further, his team is considering terminating his contract.

Davey Coombs has reported that the AMA has suspended Jason Lawrence indefinitely, so he will not be racing this weekend at Red Bud, and possibly not for the rest of the 2008 season. In addition, the $25,000 fine that was posted as probable to Lawrence after the Freestone National for a rental car incident has now been collected and donated to the Asterisk Mobile Medical unit.

I read he got into a fight over some girls... Then when the police showed up he kept fighting with them .

Stupid. You might stomp one, then other but they keep calling in more so you lose. One thing though...If he was fighting for her good on him. If he was fighting over her...SUCKER.

Ya still got to love him...

as long as no drugs or alchohol were not involved it wont hurt him look for him next season.

Guess the Bad Boy Image isnt Over tollerated.....

YOT will have a press release the beginning of the week to announce Lawrence is fired from the Team....

and the AMA will also announce that he has been Banned from AMA racing for the rest of the season....

i just heard he got busted buying a bag of weed from an undercover i don't think they would fire him over a fight so it seems a little more believable

That is NOT what happened

he was at a club and the shoving match was over a couple of girls and local guys and the cops showed and he was fighing with them.

Exactly....if Drugs were involved he would be done in AMA Competition and No factory would Touch him!!!

Ron Lechien and Jeff Emig are Perfect examples of that Rule.....

Hes a Kid and hes not focused...Period he needs supervision 24-7..Lol...

I know if it were me thrust into the lime light at that age with in disposable amounts of $$$ and broads their would be trouble as well.
He will mature and become what they all want him to be someday, just not when they want it.

He got into a fight over some girls and thats it? Wow... thats lame.. thats what 20 something year olds do all the time anyway as far as I know. Crybaby Villopoto probably called the cops on him. haha
