Ok so I was gettin ready toget down on some COD last night and I get freaking red rings!!!!! Ughhhhh After I was just bragging to my buddies with PS3's how my 360 is almost 2 years old with out failure.

So now my warranty is long gone and I am thinking that I am just going to fix it using the penny tricks and Then sell it and all my XBOX stuff and just get a PS3 sice my wife wants BLU ray anyway....

What do you guys think I should do...

i Just had friends gie me 2 xboxes with rrod. I penny tricked both and they boyh work fo the most part. I dont have controllers or games to test it.

the only reason i have a 360 is bc all my friends play cod on it, otherwise id have a ps3

if you go on you tube there is videos that show you what to do but basically you replace these 4 little pad thingys with some pennies wrapped in ellectrical tape.

I guess it works so Im gonna try it

Alright so I got it all tuned up today and works great!!!

But now I have been thinking... I am seriously considering going to PS3 now for the BLU Ray technology.

What do you guys think I should do?

For sure keep the 360.
You won't like PS3 that much, especially if the only reason you're buying it is for the Blu-Ray capabilities.
Just buy a damn Blu-Ray player!

when i was a kid i use to love video games, racing games are more my thing though
but over the last 4 years ive noticed ive not been that interested cos most of the games are 1st person shooters and i just cant get on with them and there amount of good racing games out there dont warrent buying a $300-500 games machine
if your a big gamer then go with the PS3 possably keep the xbox and just buy a Blueray player for the wife

Long thats the route I would love to go, unfortunately, thats out of my price range. Im just gonna go with the PS3. I was always a MGS fan and a Gran Turismo Fan growing up so it works out perfect
