Re: the Unemployed

I've been unemployed for over a month now, but selling the 50 is absolutely last resort. I hope it doesn't come to that.

For those that had to sell their stuff....it's just "stuff". You will be able to replace again when economy turns back up in late 10'.

I'm paying credit cards off like mad right now. It's tight from check to check but I learned a valuable lesson. It's more important to save some $$ now more than ever.

When CHINA signs the final papers to BUY America in the next couple of years then we are going to have our worst struggle.

ANTIQUES are GOLD. Anything that is not made in China and was made in America is going to be trade bait!

Re: the Unemployed

Going back to school is the best thing in world and get the state to pay for it. I am going to take Machine Tool Tech at El Camino this Spring. I am hoping to learn Autodesk Inventor and Mastercam so that I can make some of my own mini parts. Hell with CHINA!

Re: the Unemployed

I just got laid off a month ago and it has been a nightmare. I have been painting cars for 10 years and always had a good paying job. Everyday I am out driving around talking to people and trying to find another job but there is nothing out there in my field. At least side work and savings give me some money to survive on until I figure something out.
