| 12" tubeless motard wheels from Italy - 15mm axle
Just got this spec sheet from our distributor in Italy, Mobster Pitbikes. They have a 12" tubeless motard wheel set made for guys with the 15mm axles for the Pitster, Thumpstar, Motovert, etc. Width - 2.15 front, 2.50 rear. 5 spoke alloy. The only information I have is exactly what is listed here in the picture. The USD price is $430 for the set. I do not know if I can sell them as single's yet. ![]() Contact - mark@ahpminis.com or 610-417-2533 Web - Ahp Minis

| Re: 12" tubeless motard wheels from Italy - 15mm axle I have no clue if a dirt tire (even that wide if you can find something) can handle a tubeless setup to be honest.

Are these billet or cast wheels? The difference is that a douglas is a billet wheel, right? If these are billet, that would be truly sweet. Also...only black or other colors available? Would look good on my ct70 conversion. |

| Re: 12" tubeless motard wheels from Italy - 15mm axle Like I said, this is the only info I have at the time but I will try to answer the questions best I can. As far as I know only black is available because when you start runs of numerous colors your always stuck with some of the color that turns out to be not as popular. To me, they look cast, they would be probably double the cost IMO due to machine time if they were all billet.

I directly collaborate with Cristian of Mobster here in Italy. What i can say is that this wheelset will be an absolute revolution, at least in the minimotard scene. They are made by casting with high-pressure air vaacum system (that eliminate any air grains in the molding because the alloy is not gravity-casted..) first quality alloy aluminum and then heat treated, and are tested under very heavy situations in both asphalt and dirt situations for months before launched in the market, plus they are one year guaranteed. A billet wheel will be much more heavier and expensive (no street bikes has billet wheels, race bikes uses forged or casted ones...). As for the colors, you can always powder-coating it... They just entered the world of minibikes and minimoto (small minigp bikes) here in Europe, sponsoring many teams and championships. I dont now if at the moment they are represented in the US market... Anyway go check their website to more info or ask Mark AHP Minis: www.pmt-tyres.it | |

The wheels are in stock? Do you sell any brake rotors that will fit it? Which rotors fit? Last edited by shw911; 09-17-2009 at 11:13 AM. |

| Re: 12" tubeless motard wheels from Italy - 15mm axle Ah, cool. PMT is over here, the pocketbike guys swear by them. I didn't know they were getting into the 12" game. Time to hit up my old Pocketbike pals unless Mark can get a hook up... : ) Edit: Oh that's beautiful, just hit up PMT's site, 4 different compounds PLUS rains in 12". I'm in love! Rotor question has been answered but your stock Pitster or same bolt pattern rotor will fit, typical chinese pattern on these wheels.

Awsome! I'll be interested to see detailed info including weight. For the money that is one HELL of a wheelset, and powdercoating....oh the color choice!
