We were wondering... What is the best Japanese carb we can put on these Zonger 155's in a stock configuration? ... and for a BBK / modified configuration? ... and can we buy one Jap. carb to do both jobs with good results so you do not waste your money buying 2 different Jap. carbs when you build one up? I was thinking VM 26, PWK 28... etc, etc... I do not care if it is a Mikuni or a Keihin... it is your choice. Or... is there a China carb worth having for these requirements (above)... OKO 26 or 28??? It must be EASY to jet, be verrrrrrry tunable... and have parts available everywhere. Am I asking too much? All I can say is that it will come stock on our motors for Generation #4... and they will be CHEAP... if you know what I mean Have a verrrry relaxing holiday... bob / john Last edited by MedinaMiniSX; 09-04-2009 at 05:19 PM. I vote for PWK28. Parts/Jets are easy to get and tuning is a breeze. I have one on my STOCK Lifan 150 and it works well. Plus, Who is going to leave there motor stock for long? Anyone??? |

Bob & John If you want to sell a good carb it does not matter the carb so much as the standard jetting package you get. I personally like the Pwk but you need to spec. the right needle and Slide cut out if this done then the carb can be jetted easily. MY .02 |

No speculation on the delivery date as there are too many unknowns. "And PWK 28"... We are going to test this idea later this month. Last edited by MedinaMiniSX; 09-09-2009 at 05:05 AM. |
