What's the tallest gearing that I can fit on a KLX. I have a 124 Superhead along with other mods on it. Going to run a bigger track in a few weeks.

16 fr 31 r you will have to shave the case cover and not run the metal guard to run the 16 f

I ran a 16T front on my 110, without modding the case or removing the sprocket guard .

bet you chain rubs on the case cover and I was not able to to run the metal guard cuz it hit the chain and/or the sprocket but that was me

you can run a 16 . i have with no rubbing ! i dont think that engine will pull a 16 ! i had the same engine ! 15 39 should give you about 64 mph , and still pull out of corners . i run on a 7/8 mile track with 2 good straights . if you gear to tall it wont reach peak revs for a 1/4 mile . good luck . you need alot of power for a 16 to work !!

we were running 1.8 mile tracks with a stock bore motor and not having any probs I usually run 15 36 on the local cart tracks

Sprocket specialists makes a 28 rear so... 16/28

The 16 front is fine if your chain tension is correct.

What's the best gearing for good low end and top end power I want speed but still have the strong power to pop a easy wheelies without manual clutch
