My Mood: | Not a mini, But my unique 'Tard Build
Im not an avid member to any other motorcycle sites so I thought you might enjoy. I purchased an 01 wr250f CA street legal last year. The motor was blown and i had it rebuilt and am picking it up next weekend. I just got done fitting a brand new takeoff front end from an 09 ktm 950 Hyper motard. WP forks, Dual brembos and a bunch of sweet goodies compared to stock single disc yammie front end. im in the process of trying to fit the cast rear wheel aswell but it looks like I might have to run a stock hubbed wide rim spoked rear : ( http://photos-h.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos..._3700196_n.jpg ![]() |

How the hell did you land that front end? And for a decent price lol seems super expensive.

my buddy totalled is brand new 950 hypermotard, sold me the whole front end as you see it plus bars and all for 400 bucks! he even gave me the trellis frame with it too. the back end was toast so that was all that was really good.

My Mood: | Re: Not a mini, But my unique 'Tard Build thanks, Im excited to get this thing out and see what she does. He was telling me how hard that big v-twin 950 ktm slowed down with these so I imagine there going to be more than overkill for the 250F! Now I know what those monkey guys feel like with rediculous brake setups lol

Good job on that front end man. I say go all black, Black Mamba style with all the Light Speed carbon fiber accessories and the Cyclops head light. Should look sick.

I honestly want too but This is also going to be my trail/ motocross bike so I want to keep the tank stock color to match the moto plastics so i can just swap out front ends and rear wheel and be moto ready! Im aLmost thinking its too much brake and might take a rotor and caliper off. gotta see what its like first | |
