running 14 inch tires on klx

whats the problem if i run the stock 14 inch front tire on my klx?

not too sure. i know on my pitster i bent alot of stock front rims until i bought a decent one.

well i think the klx front rim is alot stronger but i mean like handling wise whats the difference between running a 14 inch in the front with a 12 rear and just running two 12's

None. I mean, yes, there IS a difference...but you can alter your geometry and make it handle pretty much however you want. Search my posts on this subject, as I've written about it probably a dozen times.... It works with the right tire. Follow my yellow brick road and youll find what you need!!

im running street tires and the front is rubbing against the forks and its impossible to find a 14" tire that will fit in between the forks.

yeah go to motorcyclesuperstore usa IRC NR77 Rear Scooter Tire - Scooter - Tires - Motorcycle Superstore thats the tire im running but if you get a 100/90 12 inch tire itll clear the front forks

Will a 110-90-12 clear in a stock 110 rear end?
I'm going to get the 14" in that motorcycle superstore link but couldn't find a 100-90-12 on their page anywhere. Did find a few 110-90-12's though.

Not sure about a KLX swingarm, but I am running a 110-90-12 Shinko on the back of my KX65, it clears, but not by much
