I have a 2009 lxm 14/14..I have changed the fluid in the front forks to 10wt maxima racing oil..would it be worth it to get the factory rims trued or would I be better of buying a after market set.. Locally they are charging $35 a rim..after the oil change in the forks the vibration calmed down but is still there..I will be commuting the bike 3-5 days a week.thanks in advance

No dealer/vendor support? Are the wheels not balanced or really out of true? I'd true and balance the wheels before spending another $300+ for a new wheel set.

yes have them trued up and ask them if they can balance them for you.
I work at a small independant shop and we can not bal. under 15" wheels so if they can not either you can take some stick on weights to a tire shop and they can balance them for you.

Do you still have the factory tires? My x4 motard had really bad head shake and vibration with the factory tires but after putting on some dunlop tt92's it rides great.

still running the stock tires....not really interested in getting new tires cause i plan on using the stock 14" set for the street and saving up my pennies for these

i would say these are better...cheaper and weigh less
