Okay, a couple things about vee rubbers, and maybe we'll put this to rest, and I'll sell them....if not, I'll use them. FIRST: the bead isn't broken, it's tweaked, yes. If you ever use tire irons, this happens occasionally, but I've never seen it effect the performance of a tire. If you buy them, and there's an issue, I'll give you your money back for the rear. NOT after 10 races.... BEFORE use. If you can't get it to bead, balance, or whatever. I'd say that's standing behind a sale. SECOND: they weren't mounted on my wheels is why I didn't use them. A good friend of mine mounted them on his spec bike for a weekend where he DIDNT have to run the "spec" tire. The weekend got rained out, he never used them, and had to swap back to the spec dunlops to be legal again. He owed me some cash and offered up the tires. THIRD: Kurlons "delamination" remark. YES these tires have a well documented history of forming a delamination seam, BUT v-e-r-y few people have ever commented on it actually effecting the performance of the tire. Lots of really fast dudes have said these tires are sticky as hell...most say the seam shows up but the tire doesn't fall off. One endurance team on an NSR ran them in an 8 hr race and said the tire looked a mess but that each rider STILL set their fastest time the last time on the bike. "MikeinWI" got 3rd at the nats and said he loved the Vees.... If you're interested, do a search.... |

Thats a steal.......... for $75 I mean really......... Thats about the cost of one TT92!!! And how much are Savas if you can find them, or any other 12" "race" tire? A decent way to get into a set of "race" tires |

My son was on that 8 hour endurance team. He rode 4-6 sessions, can't remember as this was almost a year ago, on a stock NSR and started the race and ran the last or next to last session. He turned his fastest lap of the day and second fastest lap of the event only off by a .15 to the fastest lap of the event also turned by our team. He ran that lap after the 7.5 hour mark. The rear was delaminating but all the riders said the grip was still good. |

I think we all bought the 100/90-12 front and the 120/80-12" rear. In the "slick" mini moto racing, pocketbike racing, Vee Rubber Racing Tires, vintage racing motorcycles check it out........... |
