| where do you get sliders for motard'd X4?
I know you can get sk8 board wheels and use a rod instead of the axle bolt, but with my weight, i dont want to run the risk of using that flimsy threaded rod! where are people getting axle sliders for their X4's? |

Home work shop.......... delrin or UHMW using 8 X 1.25 Metric bolts....... I use Shoulder bolts so the sliders can spin....... yeap that means drilling and tapping the axel............ use a lathe or the old fashioned way using a drill....... Counter bored sliders........ Nothing is fool proof but all the ways people have used here have saved track surfaces and bike components while sacrificing the sliders........ |
