My Mood: | zb50 indoor minimoto build ?'s
I just bought a ratty zb with the plans to mod it for indoor moto. I'm thinking about a z155 motor for a power plant, but don't know what to do about forks and shocks. Can i make the oem ones work with stiffer springs and oil? A nsr setup would be sweet. how much would that cost? Are the brake hubs different than a crf50? I was hoping to get some ideas from some experienced minds so I don't waste alot of time and money. I want to keep it on the cheap side and looks aren't that important. all of the dead weight will have to go, so there maybe some parts coming your way. trades welcome |

Send the front forks to RJP Racing. Ray can be contacted at: rjpracing_2004@yahoo.com He'll line you out. In regards to the rear shock, remove the stock shock and toss it in the trash. Get an Ohlins, KYB, 2004 NSRmini or 2006NSF100F or other good aftermarket shock and you'll be well on your way. However, the ZB50 really isn't a good candidate for a track bike as the geometery isn't good and it's a heavy pig. |
