I have access to a 40'000 sq ft wharehouse in downtown Winston Salem NC to build an indoor supermoto style track in.

Question is: How many people would be interested in coming to ride? If i procede with this idea, the track would be settup as a supermoto style having a few small doubbles and tabletops followed by flat, hardpack roadcourse style turns. any suggestions or feedback would be greatly appreciated.

Is the pitbike thing big down there ?? Maybe going down there to work so should i bring my bike ?? Super moto sounds good to also ..

It's getting big. but scattered. Most of us are riding the bigbike tracks or setting up cones in the parking lot after work

Well, I usually ride in the parking lot at work on sunday afternoons or go to thunder valley mx. However, it's getting cold outside and if i can get enough people to come ride to where we can afford the rent i found a place indoors near downtown winston salem. However rent if 4k a month. Gona take alot of us to keep it open. However if i get enough interest the owner said he would work out a deal like a membership per year and we could ride for free. not to mention the fact we could do anything we want to inside. Ie: mx, flatrack, supermoto, etc. as long as we keep it safe.

Oh, and cobray: I work at a bike shop so if you need a mini, I can hook you up. Also entertaining the thought of a bike rental. Cool Huh?

I work at forsyth motosports on university parkway in winston salem.

We carry yamaha and kawasaki, and as of yesterday afternoon we are now a pitster pro dealer. Just waiting on the bikes to get here.

posted in your other thread as well, but my roommate and I would be down for sure. We prefer all dirt, but supermoto sounds fun too

I agree. All dirt would be cool. Only issue is the wood floor. I'm afraid knobbys would be dangerous if the dirt ever made it down to the wood. Dont know yet though. depends on when we start puting dirt down. they do it in the arena's couldnt be that hard.

Looking like this thing is gona be a go. If i use red clay dirt i should be able to cover the while floor. It will just have to be hardpack

Sounds good. Im just 45min from Winston. Count me in as soon as i find another bike. Sold my klx last week, lookin for a LXR pitster.

I'm in Greensboro and all Sumo but ill ride either! Keep us informed either way it goes.

BTW stadiums have cement floors so dirt isn't a problem. I cant imagine a warehouse of that size having a wood floor?
