Re: another problem with my v2

do not stack two head gaskets !!!......... wtf.. double up on the base gasket if your piston is above deck. But before anything else check your crank, if the rod stretched or the bearing are going it may cause a similar issue with piston to head clearence

Re: another problem with my v2

pull the head off and measure the deck height....a stock cylinder with the TB piston should be well in the hole and plenty of valve relief..Mike is very conservative with his parts.....
I milled 2mm off a cylinder and still clear a akunar piston with my V2..
Something is not quite right.

Re: another problem with my v2

Not uncommon for that combo to need double base gaskets. YX jug is shorter and can let the piston hit the head. I send an extra when I sell a turned down one for econo-143 kits.

Re: another problem with my v2

i finally got it to go all the way around. idk y id did that time but it did when i was claying it. now it goes by just fine, except now there is a very quite tick that u can barely hear right around the ignition point. what is that sound? is it common? is it something to worry about? the clay came out fine, if it did hit the piston, it would have been oh so slight that t didnt rip though the clay
