I have one of them to and its not as easy to tune. For 112 shipped you can't beat it man, and it rips.

Yes, the manifold with the kit faces forward. They take the same jets as the OKO 26.

I have tried the PWK 28, the PE 28 and now the TB 28. The trailbikes carb performs just as well as the PE and is slightly easier to tune. It uses Keihin round mains and pilots.

Also .. how do you know it's a 28 ???? Is it a round bore carb that's 28 mm all the way thru the venturi ..... The 28 Mikuni KX carb has a 27.5 mm slide ....... the outlet spigot is 38 mm O/D ... the venturi is 24.5 mm wide x 33 mm high (oval bore) .... the outlet bore is 33 mm I/D ..... it's DEFINITELY A 28 Mikuni ... Those "26" mm MOLKTS are actually only 24 mm in diameter thru the venturi .... and falsely claimed to be a 26 mm carb ...... BTW ... I emailed the guy in your link and he wants $30 postage to Australia ...... Last edited by Pat Farsole; 04-06-2008 at 01:03 AM. | |
