well i just got a new lifan 110 motor and at first it wouldnt start then i messed with the wires and it started but it would idle reall high i fixed that and now my motor and exaust get real hot in the matter of 30 seconds its boggin out and then all of the sudden it grabs, smoke is comming out of my head like where the 2 nuts are to tighten the exaust..umm backfireing ....can anybody help me with this...also it only starts if i have the choke on or catch it in gear

i cant pinpoint it dead on, but if its getting that hot and bogging, your jetted WAYYYY lean.

Does the motor have oil in it? Sorry, I had to ask.

use some vegetable oil in her and you should be good

did the motor come with a carb? sounds like it isn't getting enough gas

yes it has oil in it

it didnt come with a carb it only came with the intake

so what carb are you using? it's it's from a stock 50 it's too small and you are running way lean. get a bigger carb and jet it for your motor

alright umm should i get a 110 carb...and after i do that am i gnna have to redue the valves
