Will the Fast Ace Triple clamps from the AS-03s work on 07 Pitster X4 fork tubes? It says the clamps are 48/45 mm. Just making sure before I pull the trigger. Thanks

i think fast ace forks are 48/48mm so dont do it.... me and slayer have fastace 02s and 03s and both are 48/48... his new pitster has different size top size than bottom... they wont work.

hmm thats weird... piranah is usualy on top of their game so call them just to find out...

... they might be selling some custom lower clamp ones...

just make sure by calling them or email... dont just buy them... im positive as02s use the same clamps as o3's and are both 48mm top and bottom

AS02's are 48X48..I have those and a set of GPX/Pitster forks and they are 48X45...I think AS03's are 48X48 not sure tho

im 100% sure they are both the same.... dont chance it... i wasted allot of money on chinese stuff expecting it to fit... only to realize i have to mutilate the thing to make it fit... or completely wasted my money... hahaha just call them dude... for all i know they have a set that is actually 48/45... but misslabled it by saying they fit fastace forks

Yeah I'll call for sure, that way they will take it back if it doesn't fit!

But hopefully it does. I believe the pitster clamps are a lot higher

well it says in the eBay item it has the long shaft (which should fit ur pitster)... but if you want to mount it on a CRF style frame nech you would have to cut the shaft down a little to get the mounting hardware to tighten down on the clamps.

Dude its not looking good... i think they are for sure not custom... im almost positive the ones he is selling are 48mm/48mm....

heres why...

..his other listing... shown below \/ ... says that those clamps are for all FastAce, Marzocchi, and DNM forks...

... i have DNM forks, and i have fast-ace forks,... and without a doubt in my mind DNM and Fastace have 48/48... and marzocchi has different settup.

Yea it's for a Honda 70 frame. So i may have to cut it down some. But thats not a problem. Just hope the clamp openings are the right size.

Hmmm I dunno, if they won't work I may buy them anyways and make some shims. Not real excited about buying $300 clamps for my $50 forks. haha

I called and the guy said they will work! He said the as-02s are 48-48 and the as-03s are 48-45 I told him I was using the pitster forks and everything and he said they will work. So if I can't make them work at least they will take them back!

YOU NEED THE 45mm UPPER / 48mm LOWERS

Just got the clamps and slid them over the fork tubes!!!!!!!!

And they fit PUUUURFECT! So glad that they fit! I hate shipping stuff back!
