My Mood: | Found this in my v2, what is it?
it was stuck in my intake valve cover. it has threads, and at the in the end it has a notch. i never ran the v2, just put it on, turned the motor ovrer by hand to find out that my stock yx piston doesnt clear. what do u guys think it is. i cant figure it out. its not the tapped adjuster, both are still in the head. ![]() ![]() |

If the valves hit, there IS something wrong, either it has a s25 cam, or something broken. a V2 will clear the stock pitson with the supplied cam Last edited by Matified; 10-28-2009 at 10:24 PM. |

I have seen this happen many times, when the nut comes loose and is ran , the adjuster backs out , hits the cover enough times and breaks, the owner loses power , sees the problem and fixes it, most find all the parts before running it.

just to clarify, the rocker adjuster is the adjuster at the top of the valve spring right?

IF both of your adjusters are there, this was from an earlier failure and somehow it finally came to a head (pun intended) | |
