| Help me decide on a pit bike!
Ok I have narrowed it down to the following: pitster pro x4r, lxr, g2 moto 160r, or piranha 160!?!? What do you guys think and why? P. S. I'm 6'3 and 220#. any advice would be extremely helpful!

Here's my opinion. If I had to do it all over again, I would get the LXR roller with KLX mounts and build a good KLX motor for it. The LXR chassis is great with a different set of bars. Don't forget your loctite.

Get the LXR.....it has the most comfortable seating area of any of the midbikes for the bigger riders. Not sure what mx'er 197 is refering to about the bars...I love the feel of them on my bike.

LXR 14. Longer cockpit and wheelbase, which will work good for your size. It also rock's with 12/14 wheel's on it.

It's worth the difference, i have both and as much as i like the X4R, it doesn't compare to the LXR. It handle's much better, more solid feeling, larger cockpit area, dual oil cooler's,folding lever's(their kinda ugly, but work good),air box(important to me as it rain's lot's here).I can ride faster with less effort on the LXR,compared to the X4R,you'll have fun on either one, but more fun on the LXR.

This is the best combo going, but it's not for everybody. You will have to source a KLX engine and wiring to complete. Not as easy as ordering a complete bike. | |

the lxr is 3 inches longer than the x4r has 2 inchs more from ground to foot pegs and 3 from ground to seat.

Vince at TBoltusa will get you straightened out as far as pricing and offers exceptional customer service. TBolt and Pitster have been in it from the beginning.

I guess the dimensions from above were for a 14-17? I would like to stick with a 12-14. I rode a x4 140 last night and was very impressed at overall asthetics and performance!! I still keep goin back to the lxr though for the enclosed airbox and linkage! I have talked to tbolt before and they were helpfull! Would I be better off call a vendor like t- bolt or going directly to pitster?
