I have an 08 motovert with a Lifan 150. I raced it this year all stock and toward the end of the year its having a few issues. I want to do some work on it but am not sure what parts or set up is the best. I want to do a 28mm carb, cam, high comp piston, maybe valve springs and valves. Not sure though never built a motor so I am looking for input.

my first suggestion would be more along the lines of maintenance

pull off your clutch cover and make sure your clutch basket main nut is tight as well as theres no play in the basket/gear set up

you can run a tb300 cam and a good vm26 606 style carb should help
we have new stock pistons and thinner head gaskets
also the cylinder can go out to 57mm and use a HC piston ,,,,cant go to big on these

Thanks I know the clutch basket main nut is tight because I had to tighten the shifting star on the other side of the basket. If I put a net piston in do I have to put in new valve springs?

Get a port and polish along with the tb300, AHP does a good head for a really good price.

hey bro I owned an 08 vert, loved it then upgraded to an 09 vert and love it too, I have a 28mm molkt carb that is in perfect cond. I'll sell it to you for 30. Includes air filter. Just one motovert owner helping out another.

Hey Chad how's the bike. Def talk to mark@ahpminis.com he built my motor last year,man is it strong and a port and polish will help. But def refresh the top end you never know how it was maintained by those you got it from hahaha. You know what I mean

Wow big accomplishment tyler on winning the 12 am championship out of about 30 riders in the whole series. Ha ha. Funny, Jett raced only 1 race outta 12 and was tied for first. Good job anyway "gay law".

Last year was the first for this still new series but the series is def growing and their was 41 in my class alone this year. So I don't know where you get your info. But it's nice to see you and big a haven't changed. Still trying to promote jays indoor series as your own.

Never tried to promote the series as my own. Just helping Jay promote it like we did last year. And doing it for nothing. So you get your fax straight. I don't steel series away from people like your dad did Andre. Yep Andre botha is the one that started the sho me series everyone and steve bales stole it from him. Used us to take the website over from him and then blocked him from it. See your dad is the user. So if people want to support a series that is now being ran by someone like that then so be it. But my guess is that he will sit on his ass like always and let other people do the job. Then when everybody gets tired of doing for him that he should be doing his self, the series will be dead. Ha ha. Can't wait til next year to see what happens. It def would have already ended if it wasn't for steve s. I feel sorry for him he has no help.

Actually it is a fact. See we owned the sho me state pitbike website until we decided we wanted out. Didn't want anymore part of it. Got domaine proof if you want it. Even kept all the records when your dad had us block andre from his own series. Switched it over to our name and then your dad a LLC on the series before Andre could do it. Kind of funny how when we had the website there were almost 200 members now that you idiots are doing it there is less than 100. Keep believing what you want. I meen I would stick up for my dad to. You don't really no better. Oh well you'll prob. End up racing big wheels before its over with. Lol

Damn, you know it don't matter what has happened in the past its all about having fun and riding. My dad, your dad who gives a ****. I started riding in this series this year and have had alot of fun, but I get tired of hearing all this cry baby **** of who started what. I wanted some help with rebuilding the motor in my bike, not this. Its easy if you don't like it, don't be apart of it simple as that. DROP IT.
