| Import big bore pipes
Playing on the dyno today confirmed that my Powroll Supertrapp setup that has served me well with my 110cc Honda build is holding my 151cc Jialing motor back. The pipe I used to prove this was a CRF70 fitment CHP Ultima. Of course, this means I need a new pipe. : ) The original list of contenders I have considered at one time: CHP Ultima Akrapovic CRF70 FMF 4.1 (only available in a 50 bend) TiForce (only available in a 50 bend) Procircuit T-4 Most of these pipes were designed expecting a 124cc motor at the most, usually shooting for something far smaller. I know the Ultima works, but I didn't have any of the others on hand to compare to, is there a better/bigger system available that'll let a 151 breathe properly, or is the Ultima still the Ultimate for minis? |

Let me qualify this, I'm only going to buy one pipe. : ) If people want to lend me pipes to test with, cool, but I can only spring for one out of my pocket.

I have a pipe here I will send you to test with if you pay shipping, if you like it, keep it and pay for it and if not send it back after you test with it and share the results.

From are testing the Ultima is the top big bore pipe we have run the H-bomb after we got the bend right and made a new rear mount the pipe worked decent the x4 pipe would be a good choice if you could mod it to fit hope this helps also we have ran the FMF and it was not close to the Ultima in performance on are motors

| Re: Import big bore pipes Whelp, my Powroll unit is a 28mm ID, non-stepped, looks like Arkapovic's is 28mm ID after the step, 24mm initially, so it's right out. Anyone got ID data for the other pipes? I assuming CHP's Ultima is 32mm at some point, and the H-Bomb matches it? |

| Re: Import big bore pipes
Has anyone compared 110 pipes to see if they run larger headers? (I'm going to have to do some mod work to mount most of these pipes anyways as they aren't available in 70 setups, why not mod a 110 pipe if it gets me more flow?) KLX's have been running larger displacements for awhile, I'd assume the headers have evolved to match?
