Im reading on the forums the lifan's dont have a rev limiter, is this true?

the reason I ask is im kinda a rev limiter Fiend from time to time.
and I think its important that its there!

the cdi controls rev limit and import motors have no limiter

As far as I know, on basically all the chinese boxes its pretty much an open ended system unlike the stock Honda or Kawasaki boxes.

I have heard there is no limiter in the stock Honda boxes either.... just limited by that small exhaust and carb it ran.

good to know. would you guy recomend putting a new cdi with a rev limiter on, or is it fine without one?
