| just orderd pitster x4r...will i regret it?
I thought I did all the research I possibly could do...But I just placed the order today and I am all ready feeling like maybe i should have done the lxr or the lxr 14.... The linkage and larger tires is a real draw and I just didn't know if I should spring for the extra 600 bones to buy those items.. I really want a mini mx bike out of the deal and curious if those who own the x4r can speak up on there experience with them. Thanks! Jerry |

Dude X4R is a killer bike. I raced one for 2 years and it was a blast. Had a supermoto one as well. Put alot of miles and laps on it and it could hold its own. You won't be let down... plus they have new bad a$$ light wheels and hubs.

I think u did good just make sure you go and lock tight every bolt and nut!!! And grease every thing with fresh grease you will be fine! But for tha price I think it's good.. Probley best china bike you can buy... You can always upgrade the parts later.. Make sure you always look it over after every ride some times things tend to come lose after the first couple rides

i guess i am not referring to regretting buying from pitster, but rather not getting a bike with linkage or the new LXR 14. I come from riding MX and want a "play bike"...So curious what you guys think Jerry |

My Mood: | Re: just orderd pitster x4r...will i regret it? I have a X4R and a LXR14 and they are both good bike's,depend's what you mean by "play bike" on which one is better for you, you'll have fun on both of them, the 14 feel's like a 85 and the 4 feel's like a 65. To me.

We ran the X4R in the 2007 MOM series and won the Rock Star(pro) and Middle age Championships. Racing against 10k to 13k BBR/Reeg and what not. The X4R is a great bike for the cost. So needless to say you won't regret it!

I highly doubt you'll regret it especially since it's just a play bike. Plus, you won't be know what the differences between the bike (unless you get to ride an LXR) so you won't know what you're "missing" by not having the linkage or 14s.

I was kinda feeling the same way right after I spent the mere $535 on an SSR110. I didn't even spring the extra $65 for the DX3 model. Well, now that I got the 110 home and have been riding it, I could care less. It's a PLAY bike! No need to drop too much money into these guys if backyard play is all your doing with it. I'm stoked with my so called "entry level" bike! |

That's what I'm saying! The bike was flawless through the whole series, you have to be there at the end. Being consistant wins! NO BREAKS!!!!!!!!!!!!! Doesn't matter who the rider is. | |

I could of used the LXR 14 this weekend, it would have been fun hitting giant wall rides on it.
