| larger motor upgrade.... After looking into more power for my zongshen 125, I’ve seen that most recommend upgrading to a larger engine VS. moding the zongshen. I plan on ordering an engine this week and were looking at these ones from Tbolt. Piranha 160 http://www.tboltusa.com/store/piranha-160-enginebr-fits-pit-bikes-and-other-minis-p-915.html?osCsid=366b2ca4dc42cea7d8986122917cee02 or Piranha 150cc (Daytona Type) http://www.tboltusa.com/store/piranha-150cc-daytona-type-enginebr-fits-pit-bikes-and-other-p-904.html?osCsid=366b2ca4dc42cea7d8986122917cee02 Any other recommendations. or reasons I should order one over the other? Thanks guys, |

We're running the YX150 day style, upgraded from a Jailing 125, the 150 seems like a very strong motor, a lot of TQ, yeah you will need a different style cable or mod your current cable bracket, once you see, it will make sense. Also our yx150 came with a 428 sprocket, just swapped to a 420 till the chain and rear wear then I'll replace with 428 etc.... only had it for a month with 4 rides and 1 race, reliability? we'll see.... |

Thanks for the replys guys! kinda going nuts looking @ all of the different motors out there, Is there any noticeable power difference between the Daytona 150, and the Parana 160? I see the 160 has les stroke and larger bore, whats that do to the power, (les low end/higher revs?) Is'nt that the one G2MOTO R1 bikes run? |

my opinion, is that stock all the 150/155 and 160 are probably pretty close in performance, the advanatge of going the 155/160 KLX style head is the opportunity for some pretty insane big bores.... |
