My son has a Lifan 125 pit bike/crosser.
The flywheel cover/chaingaurd was damaged some time ago and it took the gear indicator out(i think thats what it was?).
Anyway I got the bike repaired but the engine cover was never replaced. The chain has now come off and broken this gear indicator again!
Where can I get a replacement gear indicator and engine casing from? OR can I bypass the gear indicator as the bike has no clocks on it but it wont run while the gear indicator is broken!!

It will run with out the indicator switch..just unhook it and do away with the wiring.
You will need a rubber plug to put back into the hole though.
email www.firepowerminis.com and see if he has any 125 cases.
if not check dratvs site out for one.
The 125 lifan used a bastard size 20mm output shaft..so if you use another case not 125 lifan..the bearing and seal will have to be changed.
