| Motor parts swap ?s
I have a Lifian 50 with and a Zog-shen (sp.) 110. The 110 is out of a SSR110. I bought the Lifian because of the auto clutch, but it's a little under powered. Can I swap the piston, cylinder and heads between these 2 motors? Is it a direct swap or would there be and machining that would have to be done?

no, the 110 is a longer stroke than the 50. You could possibly fit the auto clutch to the Zongshen, would probably need stronger springs. You could bore out the 50 to 85/88 and if you used the right piston you could also use the 110 head. |

Putting an auto clutch on the Zongshen would be an option. How difficult is that to do?

Yes, you should be able to combine the two to make an auto clutch 107 motor. Just bear in mind that the piston, crank, cylinder, head, cam chain and studs from the 107 all have to move as one to the other motor. Or you could just swap clutches onto the Zongy 107 and call it a day. : )
