Hello to y'all....! I'm from the Netherlands and signed in a couple of few days ago.... I've been busy with mopeds for allmost half of my life. 33years young, had over 400 mopeds in the past years... I am allmost ashamed to say, 2 of them were 4-stroke... (I know, it's the wrong forum to say so...!) The first i had was a cool C90 wich was completely in parts. Very long time ago, i did'nt knew how to put it together again so i sold it for a low price.... I allways liked the 4stroke Honda's.... But i never bought another one..... Untill now...: Just bougt a 2007 Skyteam It has been stolen from the previous owner, and the one who stoled it destroyed the ignition lock(Sorry for my crappy English, did i wrote that right?) Also the fuelcap is gone, the steering-lock, the fueltank is damaged, and the "housings" of the gauges are broken, the headlight was missing and so on...:'( It's a pity to see it like this, but these parts are not so expensive since it's a Chinese moped....! My first plans were to fix the things above, and sell it again to make some "easy and fast money"... But....... I......Just like it to much to sell him! So now i'm planning to fix it and keep it for myself...... 'Nuff with the talking, i'll show some pics of the PBR...! Here's when i first bought it....: ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Here's the stock(and also destroyed) cockpit: ![]() And here's the plan i've got for it....: ![]() ![]() This is the cockpit-housing of an old Honda NSR50 moped. It's a liquid cooled twostroke normally. On the place where the arrow signs at sits a watertemp. gauge. I'm planning to fix the contact on that place.... The cockpit needs a little fixing to let fit the gauges in. Because of the lack of my headlight i'm planning to fix these two lights on the PBR: ![]() These are two universal headlights wich i bought a couple of few months ago on a Dutch market-site to mount on MY CPI XS250 ATV. I did'nt mount them on the ATV, because i think they'll look better on my PBR.... Well, i think that's it for now... Any updates will be shown either on this site, or on the ProjectPage of the PBR on my own site, www.vespafreak.nl(To go directly to the PBR page you can click HERE!) Greetings, and i'd like to hear what y'all think about the PBR... Last edited by iaccaloco; 11-05-2009 at 04:43 PM. |

Thanks for the reply's.... @ conant19: Do you mean you kinda like it? @ rs-racer: The moped is'nt finished yet, so i can't say how well it runs. Need to fine-tune it up a little, i think the carburettor needs some adjusting. I'm planning to change the airfilter on 1 of the pictures above. Imo. it's getting to much air.... We'll see...! I first have to finish my latest project...: ![]() That's my modified and powdercoated Italjet Tiffany25..... If i'm ready with that i'll start with the PBR as a kinda winterproject... It won't take long, just some little things i need to do....! |
