My Mood: | Orion AGB 29 Pro Forks
Okay, Here goes. I found a set of AGB 29 pro forks sitting on a dealers shelf and bought them relatively cheap. Does anybody know how to they work as far as oil and air? I put a pressure gauge on to the air-valve of the bottom of one of the forks and oil shot out. I put the pressure gauge on the other and I got nothing (No air - No Oil). It also seems that the valve on the fork that had oil is a litlle different then the other. The needle sticks out to where you can push it in with your finger and the other valve you would need to use the tip of a screwdriver to relase pressure. Do both of these take oil and air or is one air and the other oil. The valves have threads on them. I know it sounds dumb.....I just don't know. I have attached a pic, but doesn't show that much. I just want to stiffing the forks a bit. Thanks! |

There shouldn't be oil int he bottom of the forks. I bet they are as-02, or 03 Fast Ace forks. They have a floating piston in the bottom of the forks that you can adjust the air pressure to soften or stiffen them up a bit. Here are some schematics that should help. |
