| Pitster Pro customer service sucks!!!!
I dont know if anyone has used te pitster pro hotline, but their customer service and organization sucks. You can never get ahold of them, and when you need something, or even a call back, it never happens. I am still waiting on my inner clutch hub that was supposed to ship two weeks ago. It hasnt even gone through on my credit card yet. What is that. Everytime I call, they dont know whats going on!!!!

Yes but, not that I condone it any vendor handles things with triage (whoever is angriest and creates the most stink gets taken care of first) And as soon as they go public they get taken care of, so the vendor clears their name and the customer gets their part they need, doesn't end up so bad.

I just feel for the vendors when most of these situations are NOT accurate and could be avoided if the customer is reasonable. From my experience. |

I don't know who you talk to out there, but Gary and Chris are always awesome on the phone when I talk to them. Matter of fact I should have parts waiting at home for me when I get there from work. give them a chance man, i know they probably got hit with all kinds of people wanting the new engines and then with the new bikes coming in. it's not easy making, importing and owning your own company bro. They only have a hand full of people working there, it's not like having 100 people working there. I think there is only about 20 or so people working there. Be patient they will make things right. |

Don't call the parts guys at lunch time (usually 1 or 2MT) Otherwise they've got some of the best service around.

Maybe your part was backordered dude thats why your card hasn't been billed. I know there is a mountain of box of parts they are going through and entering in the system as they just received 2 containers and a 3rd is on the way. Not to mention the 40 or so bikes that were going out on Monday, half of which were getting zokes put on them and about 3 of those were getting elka shocks.

They could use more help they are way busy and looking for more guys I don't even work there but I go in and help just to keep people happy I was going to go riding on sat. but I decided to go in and help chris do parts orders because they are so busy. Move out here and come work for them!!

pitsterpro has the best customer service, as do most of their dealers....its incredible considering the fact that the bikes are so cheap and that the pricing on parts is extremely reasonable, you get better service from a pitster pro dealer than you would if you spent that kind of money in one of the big four shops......call around to some of pitsters dealers to see if they have the part....i know that i stock that part...but i'm not here to sell, i'm on here to state my 2 cents....deal with a dealer

heres something to consider when ordering any parts over the phone. 1. do you have the part in stock and ready to ship..if not when will it be availible. 2. if you paid for it with a credit card dont assume its in stock ready to ship...get a tracking number or confermation Email that it has been shipped. if the company can not help you or are sold out or out of stock, source it out through another Vendor or Dealer even ask the Warehouse for the name and number. I had a bad experience with Pitster as well. Not sure what the Pitster chief defines as an unreasonable customer but I would guess he would put me in that category. In my case a brand new X4 had a few small issues(shipping/assembly damage to shroud, aircleaner, handlebars) and a kind of big problem with a rear wheel that would not turn out of the crate due to a defective swingarm. In order to get the Pitster parts guy to agree to even send parts I had to go buy a digital camera to prove I had a Pitster and that it was defective. I know everyone has a digital camera but mine failed a couple of months back and I have been without. I had just bought a Pitster so I did not need the extra expense of a new camera. Anyway the parts guys indicated through the purchasing dealer that the parts were shipped out on two occasions over a three week span but nothing arrived. At this point I had a Pitster that had sat in my garage, unridable out of the crate, for about a month. Gary from Pitster called sounding very unhappy that he had to deal with any of this and said they would send the parts and a free bike stand for my troubles. He indicated it could not ship three day so I could try and ride the X4 for the first time on the fifth weekend I had owned it. The parts rolled in about a week later, unfortunately no free stand. I did get a Pitster hat. The new swingarm used a different mounting scheme than the original which I could have made work with but unfortunately the bearing holes were so out of round that the part was not usable as shipped. When I emailed about the new swingarm there was and has been no response. So, I have paid to have the original swingarm lug reworked and the bike is together after a long hassle. The bike is fun to ride but I think I will not be buying from Pitster anymore which I am sure suits them as well. WarHammer |

Please pm me with your cell # and I will call you in the am Monday the 19th to straighten this out. I am sorry I have not seen the forums in a few days and was unaware of your problems. Warhummer, I am sorry you had issues with your bike, It is difficult when we a customer has to set up there own bike, We normally try to make sure the dealer can have a look at it and resolve any issues so the customer does not have too. I am sorry you had to wait a few days to get your parts, I understand you have received them now, but were promised a stand as part of the inconvience, Very sorry you have not got your free stand yet. Please pm me your cell # and I will call you and take care of this. once again sorry for the troubles I hope we can make you happy on your Pitsters!!
