I've got an 08 OGM SX150 that sadly has sadly been sitting for the last 3 months because i've been in the hospital for about the last 2 1/2 months.

I know the simple stuff like draining the gas just in case its gummed up, cleaning carb, etc with the fuel and i'm going to put fresh oil in. I'm far from being an engine tech so I was just curious if you guys had recommendations on anything in paticular to do to keep from causing any engine damage? and or might help firing it up for the 1st time because due to the situation I wont be able to kick away for hours just yet but would like to start it even though I wont be able to ride for a while longer.

sorry to hear u were in the hospital glad to hear ur out now might squirt some oil in the sparkplug hole and spin her over a bit to pre lube that topend
