Help!

Bought a SIKK MX from Atom Rotten (i know, I know) back in '06. This bike has been in my garage for a few years now and barely got used. So I decide to use it as part of a trade for other stuff. I figured it's time to get it registered.

It has a Federal (black) decal on the frame with the VIN. I have the Origin certificate and a bill of sale.

The DMV didn't find a VIN plate on the stem and said the federal sticker is not good enough (after waiting for 2 hours!!!) and said I have to go to the CHP

Got sent to the CHP for an inspection, inspector not there and they make me an appointment for two weeks out.

The inspector (CHP officer) calls and says that he might not be able to get this bike registered in CAL because the brand/manufacturer is not CAL approved!

HAS ANYONE HAVE A SIKK MX THAT THEY GOT REGISTERED IN CALIFORNIA??? Something I can use as an example or ideas???

I did not have a Sikk frame but a Tech 5...it is an American made frame and did not have any Federal stickers on it but it was serialized...I had to go to DMV for the paperwork to register it as "Special Construction" ...they too sent me to CHP for inspection and the CHP rep put on a Cali serial # which I in turn went back to DMV and completed the registration (Green Sticker) but now I have a title

I am almose positive that you can not register that sikk bike. Its not a carb bike and they wont do it.

My cousin has a shop in Hayward and sold these for quite some time. Buyers got real pissed when they found out that they could not get them stickered here.
