Question Should i buy this pitster pro?

I've been looking to get a Pitster Pro and I found this one on a local classified ad page. Does anyone know what model it is? Is it a good deal and should I buy it?

The ad is below.

$525
06 Pitster Pro 125 pitbike

I have a pitster pro for sale. I have title in hand. This is a perfect bike for someone to ride with kids as they are learning to ride or for the kids to ride. Please call. texts and phone calls only please I never answer e-mail.

He said he'll take $450 and that nothing is wrong with it when I called.

Please let me know wat you guys think.

Thanks

To me it looks beat. You dont know if it has internal problems with the motor or what not, from what it looks like nothing has ever been greased or taken care of, chain looks like its going to snap because it so rusty. IMO it looks to me like its just a big ordeal. But i guess you get what you pay for, in this situation....Go for it man!

Re: Should i buy this pitster pro?

That is a 2006 Pitster Pro 125X. GPX motor, 1 down 3 up manual shift, very good engines on those. Only real problem was the rear swingarm/shock configuration, it looked cool but didnt work very well. The stock rear shock blew easily, so they came out with a heavier spring for the shock, all that did was make it like a po-go stick. The bike is fine so long as you're not jumping the thing.

definatly my buddy had one and where the shock mounts on the the frame broke we fixed it but i would never ride it the suspension was horrible like a pogo stick for sure. and when he blew it out it was on a little track in some little whoops he didnt really jump it that hard i have a xr 50 and it holds up way better. find a xr/crf50 or a klx110
