Re: ssr dx110

hi , not sure were you got the bike but we would be glad to help you out , mabey just a more sturdy set of footpegs / mount will get things going for you

basically we would have recomended dx3110 for general pitbike riding , mabey mobing the nieborhood ect ,not really mx jumping

Re: ssr dx110

things that went wrong with my ssr 110: fork mounts breaking/cracking, swing arm bushings wearing out FAST, the arm that holds pressure on the shift star was messed up from factory, the rear shock was messed up the day i got it, and the usual cheap china parts wearing and breaking lol. it was a fun little bike but i wasnt easy on it now that i have my medina (if i ever get to ride it) the ssr is going to be used for a PIT bike for the races lol. Nice R by the way, i race quads up here in MI

Re: ssr dx110

i got a dx3 about 4 or 5 months ago. love it for the money. only problems so far-clutch lever, clutch perch,2 chain guards, chain, and a couple pices of plastic and it likes to slip into nutral or from shifting to 2nd from 3rd. and i ride it pretty hard. i look at it as a learning process getting a pitster pro next!!!!!

Re: ssr dx110

pull your clutch side cover off and you will find the shift star lever (i dont really know what its called) is not on the shift star at all, take it off heat it up a little and slightly bend it in. my friends bike and mine were both like that from the factory now they shift like a champ (other than downshifting hard from 3rd to second will sometimes go into neutral) but no more false neutrals (edit: maybe yours isnt lol i read it wrong)

Re: ssr dx110

we have had good success with those bikes. there not a high doller race machine but are great play bikes when properly taken care of. Take care of it and you will get your moneys worth. Think about the honda you would have bought those same little things also like pegs etc.

Re: ssr dx110

i bought a dx3 from tbolt, knew what i was getting into so i ordered new peg mount, new tires, changed fork oil, changed motor oil, and all was good, i even ordered a second unit from tbolt for friends to ride, after a few months i even ended up upgrading to a jialing 125 i bought from tbolt too. needs a shock upgrade now from jumping the snot out of it, and i swapped out the rear bushings for bearings that a local hardware store had. decent bike,
