Hello,

I'm searching for a BBK for my Lifan engine. I tried to search for the engine number, but I found only some Chinese pages. According these pages my engine is a 125 with 52.4 mm bore and 57.8 mm stroke, but the number on my cylinder says it is a 120 cm³ engine. Now I'm a bit confused, because I wanted to order this kit for the Lifan 120:

I know I could measure the stroke and the piston pin diameter, but unfortunately I have no replacement gaskets and therefore I will not disassemble the engine until the new kit is here. I tried to measure the stroke removing the spark plug and using a steel wire, but wasn't able to get an exact value.

So I hope that someone knows the specs of this engine or anything about the Lifan numbering scheme, because I found lots of 1P52FMI engines but nothing reliable on my 1P52YMI engine. 52 should be the bore, is there a letter that indicates the stroke?

What is the length of your cylinder in MM not including the skirt?

I'd pull the top to see what pin size it uses. If it's the mostly unloved 14mm, you can sleeve the stock jug and add an Akunar domed piston for about what the 13mm guys pay, and be set for yor BVH. Gotta know SOON

Update: I took off the cylinder and measured the piston pin, it's a 14 mm pin. So i will go for the TB Lifan BBK. There is no need for a BVH, because this engine has already a 27/23 head.
