if i had a lifan 140cc and wanted to take the cylinder off will it fit on a yx140 bottom end? i know they both run LBV heads so that should be fine

The Lifan cylinder is longer and runs 14/28 timing chain sprockets vs the shorter YX140 cylinder which runs 16/32 timing chain sprockets ... They've used different sprockets to still give the same 2 to 1 ratio without adversely affecting cam chain tension ... I checked out a TB 141 kit for the Lifan 120/125/127/138 and it has a 78.7 mm long cylinder whereas the TB 150 kit for the 140 Lifan has a 79.8 mm long cylinder ... I note that it appears that they've skimped on the quality of the ceramic coating on the 150 cylinder ... it's glaringly obvious ... SOLDN ... Last edited by Pat Farsole; 01-15-2009 at 03:35 PM. |
