| Yx160 End Results
Well two hands, a penny, and a rubber strap got the clutch and slinger off. As we were looking at the shaft next to the main shaft. The bearing is basically gone. The retainer is bunched up big time. On one corner the cases are chipped a little bit, but still big enough to spot. Now I figured I will need to split the cases. Is there a OEM part I can replace it with? Maybe a crf50 part??? Im kinda scared to split a motor with an adjustable cam chain. Maybe don could walk me threw it, or a video? Also the slinger where the steel meets the aluminum spun a little bit.

Had the clutch basket been retorqued regularly? So, you just need a the beefier side case, clutch basket and bearings from the update kit. If it ever gets made. This sort of thing was happening a year ago with the 150's, and all the "R&D" went in to the 4mm stroker. Until then, D-comp or bumpstart. It wasn't oil, tard

I told my bro a week before he got it to, make sure the basket is tight. But he rode for a few hours instead. Im really trying to get him to buy a s35 de-comp. Will the basket "need" to be replaced? |

Your freindly drop-ship vendors would be thrilled to sell you a new engine... As previously mentioned, SOMEONE has an "in" at the Chinese factory for the YX150/160 H/K hybrid to even exist. A little extra material in the case half casting cores would help, along with a clutch redesign.

The kickstart shaft and basket seems like the main two problems on these. I hope PAX can help my bro out.
